Road rules refresher

Minister for Road Safety Jennifer Rankine is urging all drivers to refresh their knowledge of the road rules as part of their New Year’s resolution.

Launching the Road Rules Refresher campaign, Ms Rankine said drivers, motorcyclists and cyclists should all take a few minutes to improve their knowledge – even if you think you are a road rules master.

The Road Rules Refresher package is aimed at correcting common misunderstandings amongst drivers and riders – and it’s usually the “more experienced” drivers who make the mistakes.

Action to refuse registration of cars with critical defective Takata airbags expanded

Additional vehicles registered in South Australia have now been identified as having been fitted with a “critical” Takata airbag, and will be refused registration to ensure the safety of all road users.

REMINDER: Temporary closure of intersection of South Road and Regency Road for bridge move
