MAC Footy Express services expanded

Heading to the game? Catch the MAC Footy Express. Be a game changer on the road.

More footy fans will have access to free public transport this year with new and expanded MAC Footy Express services announced for the 2017 season.

The Motor Accident Commission, the Adelaide and Port Adelaide football clubs and the State Government have again come together to offer free public transport to Adelaide Oval for the AFL season, which starts this week.

Your ticket to any AFL game at Adelaide Oval is also your ticket to free travel on MAC Footy Express services as well as all regular Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams.

This year an extra MAC Footy Express service has been created, nine services have been expanded and one discontinued.

The launch coincides with a series of new advertisements for the Motor Accident Commission’s Game Changer road safety campaign.

The campaign features Crows and Power stars Sam Jacobs and Brad Ebert comparing playing football to driving, with the ultimate message to always stay focused.

The MAC Footy Express services begin this weekend with the Round 1 clash between the Adelaide Crows and Greater Western Sydney on Sunday.

Please allow extra time to get to the oval with the northern entrance of Adelaide Railway Station and Station Road, next to Adelaide Railway Station, currently closed due to works for the Adelaide Riverbank Project. Train passengers will need to exit the Railway Station via North Terrace.
