The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) will commence night works on Sunday, 18 March 2018, to upgrade the intersection of Anzac Highway, Brighton Road and Tapleys Hill Road.
The upgrade works are designed to significantly improve traffic flow and safety at this intersection for pedestrians and road users.
The project involves:
Due to the high traffic volume at this intersection, all works will be undertaken at night between 7pm and 5am.
All roads will remain open to traffic and access to private properties will be maintained at all times.
Lane and speed restrictions will be in place during these works and road users are advised to follow the direction of traffic management staff and observe signage to ensure the safety of road workers and the travelling public.
Traffic delays can be expected and please take care when travelling through work zones.
Works are expected to be completed by the end of May 2018, weather permitting.
